No Bake Apple Cake Recipe – Jabłecznik Bez Pieczenia

This Polish apple cake is super yummy and easy to make! You don’t even need an oven.

It has layers of biszkopty (lady finger) cookies, sweet apples with jelly, and fluffy whipped cream on top.

How To Make This No-Bake Apple Cake?

Step 1 – Make The Apple Layer

Peel the apples, then grate them. Transfer them to the pot and cook for 20-30 minutes, stirring from time to time.

Dissolve jellies in 2 cups of boiling water. Pour the jellies into cooked apples and mix. Allow to cool completely.

Step 2 – Make The Cream Layer

Dissolve gelatin powder in 3 tbsps of boiling hot water. Beat heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff.

Mixing all the time, add gelatin mixture.

Step 3 – Assemble The Cake

Line the 9×13” baking pan with parchment paper.

Assemble the cake in the following order:

  • ladyfinger cookies on the bottom
  • cold apple layer
  • cream layer

        Ingredients

        Cream Layer

        • 18 oz / 500ml of heavy cream
        • 2 oz / 50g of powdered sugar
        • 1 tbsp of gelatin powder

        Apple Layer

        • 4½ lbs / 2 kg of apples
        • 2 packages of jello mix (5oz / 140g)

        Bottom Layer

        • 1 package of Lady Finger cookies (7oz / 200g)

        Others

        • nuts/ almonds / chocolate flakes / colorful sprinkles to decorate

        Instructions

        Make The Apple Layer
