Breaded egg cutlets are super easy to make. All you need to have in your fridge are eggs, onion, and breadcrumbs. Let's face it- these are the things we usually have at home, even when there is nothing else left.
Ingredients
- 5 boiled eggs
- 1 raw egg
- 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion
- 1 teaspoon of butter
- oil, salt, pepper
Instructions
- Finely chop an onion and fry it on butter until it's soft.
- Grate the boiled eggs.
- Add the raw eggs, fried onion, salt, and pepper.
- Form the cutlets (you should get about 5 from this portion).
- Coat each cutlet with breadcrumbs.
- Fry the cutlets on oil, about 4 minutes each side.
- Place them briefly on a plate lined with paper towels to drain off excess fat.
Notes
You can use chives or spring onions instead of onion.
